Ziyārat ‘Ālī Yāsīn

سَلاَمٌ عَلَى آلِ يـٰس.

salāmun `alā āli yās¢n

Peace be upon (the) progeny of Yaseen.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا دَاعِيَ الله وَرَبَّانِيَّ آيَاتِهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بَابَ الله وَدَيَّانَ دِينِهِ

alssalāmu `alayka yā dā`iya allāhi wa rabbāniyya āyātih¢ alssalāmu `alayka yā bāba allāhi wa dayyāna d¢nih¢

Peace be upon you, O the caller of Allāh and place of manifestation of His signs. Peace be upon you, O the door of Allāh and the devout one of His religion.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا خَلِيفَةَ الله وَنَاصِرَ حَقِّهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ الله وَدَلِيلَ إِِرَادَتِه

alssalāmu `alayka yā khal¢fata allāhi wa nā¥ira ¦aqqih¢ alssalāmu `alayka yā ¦ujjata allāhi wa dal¢la irādatih¢

Peace be upon you, O the vicegerent of Allāh and the helper of His truth. Peace be upon you, O the proof of Allāh and the Guide of His intention.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا تَالِيَ كِتَابِ الله وَتَرْجُمَانَهُ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ فِي آنَاءِ لَيْلِكَ وَأطْرَافِ نَهَارِكَ

alssalāmu `alayka yā tāliya kitābi allāhi wa tarjumānih¢ alssalāmu `alayka f¢ ānā'i laylika wa a§rāfi nahārika

Peace be upon you, O the reciter of Allāh's book and its interpreter. Peace be upon you in your night and in your day.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بَقِيَّةَ الله فِي أرْضِهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مِيثَاقَ الله الَّذِي أخَذَهُ وَوَكَّدَهُ

alssalāmu `alayka yā baqiyyata allāhi f¢ ar¤ih¢ alssalāmu `alayka yā m¢thāqa allāhi alladh¢ akhadhah£ wa wakkadah£

Peace be upon you, O the remnant of Allāh on His earth. Peace be upon you, O the covenant of Allāh, which He took it and He fastened it.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَعْدَ الله الَّذِي ضَمِنَهُ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أيُّهَا الْعَلَمُ الْمَنْصُوبُ

alssalāmu `alayka yā wa`da allāhi alladh¢ ¤aminah£ alssalāmu `alayka ayyuhā al`alamu alman¥£bu

Peace be upon you, O the promise of Allāh which He guaranteed it. Peace by upon you, O the manifested flag

وَالْعِلْمُ الْمَصْبُوبُ وَالْغَوْثُ وَالرَّحْمَةُ الْوَاسِعَةُ وَعْداً غَيْرَ مَكْذُوبٍ

wal`ilmu alma¥b£bu walghawthu walrra¦matu alwāsi`atu wa`dan ghayra makdh£bin

and the one who is filled with knowledge and the help and the far-reaching mercy a promise which is not a lie.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ حِينَ تَقوُمُ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ حِينَ تَقْعُدُ

alssalāmu `alayka ¦¢na taq£mu alssalāmu `alayka ¦¢na taq`udu

Peace be upon you while you are standing Peace be upon you while you are sitting.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ حِينَ تَقْرَأ وَتُبَيِّنُ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ حِينَ تُصَلِّي وَتَقْنُتُ

alssalāmu `alayka ¦¢na taqra'u wa tubayyinu alssalāmu `alayka ¦¢na tu¥all¢ wa taqnutu

Peace be upon you when you are reading and explaining Peace be upon you when you are praying and supplicating.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ حِينَ تَرْكَعُ وَتَسْجُدُ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ حِينَ تُهَلِّلُ وَتُكَبِّرُ

alssalāmu `alayka ¦¢na tarka`u wa tasjudu alssalāmu `alayka ¦¢na tuhallilu wa tukabbiru

Peace be upon you when you are bowing and prostrating. Peace be upon you when you are saying "There is no God except Allāh' and (when) you are saying 'Allāh is greater (than what He is described).

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ حِينَ تَحْمَدُ وَتَسْتَغْفِرُ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ حِينَ تُصْبِحُ وَتُمْسِي

alssalāmu `alayka ¦¢n ta¦madu wa tastaghfiru alssalāmu `alayka ¦¢na tu¥bi¦u wa tums¢

Peace be upon you when you are praising (Allāh) and seeking forgiveness. Peace be upon you when you enter the morning and the evening.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ فِي اللَّيْلِ إِِذَا يَغْشَى وَالنَّهَارِ إِِذَا تَجَلَّى

alssalāmu `alayka f¢ allayli idhā yaghshā walnnahāri idhā tajallā

Peace be upon you in the night when it envelops and the day when it becomes manifest.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أيُّهَا الإِمَامُ الْمَأمُونُ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أيُّهَا الْمُقَدَّمُ الْمَأمُولُ

alssalāmu `alayka ayyuhā al-imāmu alma’m£nu alssalāmu `alayka ayyuhā almuqaddamu alma'm£lu

Peace be upon you, O the leader, the protected one. Peace be upon you, O the prior hoped one.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ بِجَوَامِعِ السَّلاَمِ

alssalāmu `alayka bijawāmi`i alssalāmi

Peace be upon you by the collections of the salutations.

أشْهِدُكَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ أنِّي أشْهَدُ أنْ لاََ إِِلهَ إِِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاََ شَرِيكَ لَهُ

ushhiduka yā mawlāya ann¢ ashhadu an lā ilāha illā allāhu wa¦dah£ lā shar¢ka lah£

I call you as a witness, O my Master, certainly I testify that there is no god except Allāh, He is alone, there is no partner with Him.

وَأنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ لاََ حَبِيبَ إِِلاَّ هُوَ وَأهْلُهُ

wa anna muḥammadan `abduh£ wa ras£luh£ lā ¦ab¢ba illā huwa wa ahluh£

And indeed I testify that Mohammad is His servant and His Apostle; There is no beloved except him and his progeny.

وَأشْهِدُكَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ أنَّ عَلِيّاً أمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ حُجَّتُهُ

wa ushhiduka yā mawlāya anna Alīyyan am¢ra almu'min¢na ¦ujjatuh£

And I call you as a witness, O my Master Certainly Ali, the commander of the believers, is His proof.

وَالْحَسَنَ حُجَّتُهُ وَالْحُسَيْنَ حُجَّتُهُ

wal¦asana ¦ujjatuh£ wal¦usayna ¦ujjatuh£

And Hasan is His proof. And Al-Ḥusayn is His proof.

وَعَلِيَّ بْنَ الْحُسَيْنِ حُجَّتُهُ وَمُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ حُجَّتُهُ

wa Alīyya bna al¦usayni ¦ujjatuh£ wa muḥammada bna Alīyyin ¦ujjatuh£

And Ali, son of Al-Ḥusayn is His proof. And Muḥammad, son of Ali is His proof..

وَجَعْفَرَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ حُجَّتُهُ وَموُسَى بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ حُجَّتُهُ

wa Jaʿfara bna mu¦ammadin ¦ujjatuh£ wa mūsā bna Jaʿfarin ¦ujjatuh£

And Ja'far, son of Mohammad is His proof. And Moosa, son of Ja'far is His proof.

وَعَلِيَّ بْنَ مُوسَى حُجَّتُهُ وَمُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ حُجَّتُهُ

wa Alīyya bna mūsā ¦ujjatuh£ wa muḥammada bna Alīyyin ¦ujjatuh£

And Ali, son of Moosa is His proof. And Muḥammad, son of Ali is His proof.

وَعَلِيَّ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ حُجَّتُهُ وَالْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ حُجَّتُهُ

wa Alīyya bna mu¦ammadin ¦ujjatuh£ wal¦asana bna Alīyyin ¦ujjatuh£

And Ali, son of Mohammad is His proof. And Hasan, son of Ali is His proof.

وَأشْهَدُ أنَّكَ حُجَّةُ الله أنْتُمُ الأوَّلُ وَالآخِرُ

wa ashhadu annaka ¦ujjatu allāhi antum al-awwalu wal-ākhiru

And I testify that indeed you are the proof of Allāh. All of you, the first and the last.

وَأنَّ رَجْعَتَكُمْ حَقٌّ لاََ رَيْبَ فِيهَا يَوْمَ لاََ يَنْفَعُ نَفْساً إِيـمَانُهَا

wa anna raj`atakum ¦aqqun lā rayba f¢hā yawma lā yanfa`u nafsan ¢mānuhā

And surely your return is a truth, there is no doubt in it. The day when belief of none will benefit himself

لَمْ تَكُنْ آمَنَتْ مِنْ قَبْلُ أوْ كَسَبَتْ فِي إِيـمَانِهَا خَيْراً

lam takun āmanat min qablu aw kasabat f¢ ¢mānihā khayran

who previously did not believe or acquired a goodness through his belief.

وَأنَّ الْمَوْتَ حَقٌّ وَأنَّ نَاكِراً وَنَكيراً حَقٌّ

wa anna almawta ¦aqqun wa anna nākiran wa nak¢ran ¦aqqun

And indeed death is a truth. And indeed Naakir and Nakeer is a truth.

وَأشْهَدُ أنَّ النَّشْرَ حَقٌّ وَالْبَعَثَ حَقٌّ وَأنَّ الصِّرَاطَ حَقٌّ وَالْمِرْصَادَ حَقٌّ

wa ashhadu anna alnnashra ¦aqqun walba`tha ¦aqqun wa anna al¥¥irā§a ¦aqqun walmir¥āda ¦aqqun

And I testify that indeed the scattering (stage of Qiyamat) is a truth and the raising is a truth. And indeed the bridge (over hell) is a truth and the watching place is a truth.

وَالْمِيزَانَ حَقٌّ وَالْحَشْرَ حَقٌّ وَالْحِسَابَ حَقٌّ

walm¢zāna ¦aqqun wal¦ashra ¦aqqun wal¦isāba ¦aqqun

And the balance is a truth and the gathering is a truth And the accounting (of deeds) is a truth

وَالْجَنَّةَ وَالنَّارَ حَقٌّ وَالْوَعْدَ وَالْوَعِيدَ بِهِمَا حَقٌّ

waljannata walnnāra ¦aqqun walwa`da walwa`¢da bihimā ¦aqqun

and the Paradise and the hell is a truth. And the promise (of reward) and the threat (of the punishment) in them is a truth.

يَا مَوْلاَيَ شَقِيَ مَنْ خَالَفَكُمْ وَسَعِدَ مَنْ أطَاعَكُمْ

yā mawlāya shaqiya man khālafakum wa sa`ida man a§ā`akum

O my Master, one who opposes you is unlucky. And one who obeys you is lucky.

فَاشْهَدْ عَلَى مَا أشْهَدْتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَأنَا وَلِيٌّ لَكَ بَرِيءٌ مِنْ عَدُوِّكَ

fashhad `alā mā ashhadtuka `alayhi wa anā waliyyun laka bar¢'un min `aduwwika

Then testify whatever I made you a witness upon it. I am verily an ally of you and denouncing your enemy.

فَالْحَقُّ مَا رَضِيتُمُوهُ وَالْبَاطِلُ مَا أسْخَطْتُمُوهُ وَالْمَعْرُوفُ مَا أمَرْتُمْ بِهِ وَالْمُنْكَرُ مَا نَهَيْتُمْ عَنْه

fal¦aqqu mā ra¤¢tum£hu walbā§ilu mā askha§tum£hu walma`r£fu mā amartum bih¢ walmunkaru mā nahaytum `anhu

So the truth is whatever you are satisfied with. And the untrue is whatever you are angry with. And the goodness is whatever you ordered. And the evil is whatever you have prohibited from.

فَنَفْسِي مُؤْمِنَةٌ بِالله وَحْدَهُ لاََ شَريكَ لَهُ وَبِرَسُولِهِ وَبِأمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

fanafs¢ mu'minatun billāhi wa¦dah£ lā shar¢ka lah£ wa biras£lih¢ wa bi'am¢ri almu'min¢na

So lam a believer in Allāh, He alone, there is no partner with Him. And (I am a believer) in His Apostle and in the commander of the believers.

وَبِكُمْ يَا مَوْلاَيَ أوَّلِكُمْ وَآخِرِكُمْ وَنُصْرَتِي مُعَدَّةٌ لَكُمْ وَمَوَدَّتِي خَالِصَةٌ لَكُمْ آمِينَ آمِينَ

wa bikum yā mawlāya awwalikum wa ākhirikum wa nu¥rat¢ mu`addatun lakum wa mawaddat¢ khāli¥atun lakum ām¢na ām¢na

And in you O my Master, the first among you and the last among you. And my help is intended for you And my love is purely for you. Amen! Amen ! (Accept! Accept!)

اَللَّهُمَّ إِِنِّي أسْألُكَ أنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيِّ رَحْمَتِكَ وَكَلِمَةِ نُورِكَ

allāhumma inn¢ as'aluka an tu¥alliya `alā mu¦ammadin nabiyyi ra¦matika wa kalimati n£rika

O Allāh, I beseech You to send blessings upon Muḥammad the Prophet of Your mercy and the Word of Your Light,

وَأنْ تَمْلَأ قَلْبِي نُورَ الْيَقِينِ وَصَدْرِي نوُرَ الإِيـمَانِ

wa an tamla'a qalb¢ n£ra alyaq¢ni wa ¥adr¢ n£ra al-¢māni

and to fill in my heart with the illumination of certitude, my chest with the illumination of faith,

وَفِكْرِي نُورَ النِّيَّاتِ وَعَزْمِي نُورَ الْعِلْمِ وَقُوَّتِي نُورَ الْعَمَلِ

wa fikr¢ n£ra alnniyyāti wa `azm¢ n£ra al`ilmi wa quwwat¢ n£ra al`amali

my intellect with the illumination of honest intentions, my determination with the illumination of knowledge, my strength with the illumination of work,

وَلِسَانِي نُورَ الصِّدْقِ وَدِينِي نُورَ الْبَصَائِرِ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ وَبَصَرِي نُورَ الضِّيَاءِ

wa lisān¢ n£ra al¥¥idqi wa d¢n¢ n£ra alba¥ā'iri min `indika wa ba¥ar¢ n£ra al¤¤iyā'i

my tongue with the illumination of honesty, my religion with the illumination of clear evidence from You, my sight with the illumination of brightness,

وَسَمْعِي نُورَ الْحِكْمَةِ وَمَوَدَّتِي نُورَ الْمُوَالاَةِ لِمُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلاَمُ

wa sam`¢ n£ra al¦ikmati wa mawaddat¢ n£ra almuwālāti limu¦ammadin wa ālih¢ `alayhim alssalāmu

my hearing with the illumination of wisdom, and my faculty of love with the illumination of sincere loyalty to Muḥammad and his Household, peace be upon them,

حَتَّى ألْقَاكَ وَقَدْ وَفَيْتُ بِعَهْدِكَ وَمِيثَاقِكَ فَتُغَشِّيَنِي رَحْمَتَكَ يَا وَلِيُّ يَا حَمِيدُ

¦attā alqāka wa qad wafaytu bi`ahdika wa m¢thāqika fatughashshiyan¢ ra¦mataka yā waliyyu yā ¦am¢du

so that I, when I meet You, will have fulfilled the pledge and covenant that I made with You and then Your mercy will encompass me. O Protector! O Worthy of all praise!

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ حُجَّتِكَ فِي أرْضِكَ وَخَلِيفَتِكَ فِي بِلاَدِكَ

allāhumma ¥alli `alā mu¦ammadin ¦ujjatika f¢ ar¤ika wa khal¢fatika f¢ bilādika

O Allāh, bless Muḥammad (al-Mahdi) Your argument in Your land, Your viceroy in Your countries,

وَالدَّاعِي إِلَى سَبِيلِكَ وَالْقَائِمِ بِقِسْطِكَ وَالثَّائِرِ بِأمْرِكَ

walddā`¢ ilā sab¢lika walqā'imi biqis§ika walththā'iri bi'amrika

the caller to Your course, the establisher of Your justice, the revolting by Your command,

وَلِيِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَبَوَارِ الْكَافِرِينَ وَمُجَلِّي الظُّلْمَةِ وَمُنِيرِ الْحَقِّ

waliyyi almu’min¢na wa bawāri alkāfir¢na wa mujall¢ al¨¨ulumāti wa mun¢ri al¦aqqi

the authority of the believers, the ruiner of the unbelievers, the remover of the murk, the illuminator of the truth,

وَالنَّاطِقِ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالصِّدْقِ وَكَلِمَتِكَ التَّامَّةِ فِي أرْضِكَ

walnnā§iqi bil¦ikmati wal¥¥idqi wa kalimatika alttāmmati f¢ ar¤ika

the speaker with wisdom and honesty, the perfect Word of You in Your lands,

الْمُرْتَقِبِ الْخَائِفِ وَالْوَلِيِّ النَّاصِحِ سَفِينَةِ النَّجَاةِ وَعَلَمِ الْهُدَى

almurtaqibi alkhā’ifi walwaliyyi alnnā¥I¦i saf¢nati alnnajāti wa `alami alhudā

the vigilant and fearful, the well-wishing saint, the ark of salvation, the sign of guidance,

وَنُورِ أبْصَارِ الْوَرَى وَخَيْرِ مَنْ تَقَمَّصَ وَارْتَدَى وَمُجَلِّي الْعَمَى

wa n£ri ab¥āri alwarā wa khayri man taqamma¥a wa irtadā wa mujall¢ al`amā

the light of the peoples’ sights, the best of all those who put clothes on their bodies, and the unveiler of blindness,

الَّذِي يَمْلَأ الأرْضَ عَدْلاًَ وَقِسْطاً كَمَا مُلِئَتْ ظُلْماً وَجَوْراً إِِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَديرٌ

alladh¢ yamla'u al-ar¤a `adlan wa qis§an kamā muli'at ¨ulman wa jawran innaka `alā kulli shay'in qad¢run

who will fill the lands with justice and equity as it would be filled up with wrong and unfairness. You verily have power over all things.

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى وَلِيِّكَ وَابْنِ أوْلِيَائِكَ الَّذِينَ فَرَضْتَ طَاعَتَهُمْ وَأوْجَبْتَ حَقَّهُمْ

allāhumma ¥alli `alā waliyyika wabni awliyā'ika alladh¢na fara¤ta §ā`atahum wa awjabta ¦aqqahum

O Allāh, bless Your vicegerent and the son of Your vicegerents the obedience to whom You have made incumbent upon us and the observance of the right of whom You have made obligatory

وَأذْهَبْتَ عَنْهُمُ الرِّجْسَ وَطَهَّرْتَهُمْ تَطْهِيراً

wa adhhabta `anhum alrrijsa wa §ahhartahum tath¢ran

and from whom You have removed filth and whom You have purified with thorough purifying.

اَللَّهُمَّ انْصُرْهُ وَانْتَصِرْ بِهِ لِدِينِكَ وَانْصُرْ بِهِ أوْلِيَاءَكَ وَأوْلِيَاءَهُ وَشِيعَتَهُ وَأنْصَارَهُ وَاجْعَلْنَا مِنْهُمْ

allāhumma in¥urhu wanta¥ir bih¢ lid¢nika wan¥ur bih¢ awliyā'aka wa awliyā’ah£ wa sh¢`atah£ wa an¥ārah£ waj`alnā minhum

O Allāh, give him victory and make him the supporter of Your religion and through him, give victory to Your and his adherents, followers, and backers. Include us with them.

اَللَّهُمَّ أعِذْهُ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ بَاغٍ وَطَاغٍ وَمِنْ شَرِّ جَمِيعِ خَلْقِكَ

allāhumma a`idhhu min sharri kulli bāghin wa §āghin wa min sharri jam¢`i khalqika

O Allāh, protect him against the evil of every transgressor and tyrant and against the evils of all Your creatures.

وَاحْفَظْهُ مِنْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ وَعَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ

wa¦fa¨hu min bayni yadayhi wa min khalfih¢ wa `an yam¢nih¢ wa `an shimālih¢

Guard him from ahead of him, behind him, his right side, and his left side.

وَاحْرُسْهُ وَامْنَعْهُ مِنْ أنْ يوُصَلَ إِِلَيْهِ بِسُوءٍ وَاحْفَظْ فِيهِ رَسُولَكَ وَآلَ رَسوُلِكَ

wa¦rus-hu wamna`hu min an y£¥ala ilayhi bis£’in wa¦fa¨ f¢hi ras£laka wa āla ras£lika

Watch him and defend him against anything that may cause evil to him. Save through him Your Messenger and the family of Your Messenger.

وَأظْهِرْ بِهِ الْعَدْلَ وَأيِّدْهُ بِالنَّصْرِ وَانْصُرْ نَاصِرِيهِ وَاخْذُلْ خَاذِلِيهِ

wa a¨hir bih¢ al`adla wa ayyid-hu bilnna¥ri wan¥ur nā¥ir¢hi wakhdhul khādhil¢hi

Manifest justice through him. Aid him with victory. Help his backers. Frustrate those who intend to disappoint him.

وَاقْصِمْ قَاصِمِيهِ وَاقْصِمْ بِهِ جَبَابِرَةَ الْكُفْرِ وَاقْتُلْ بِهِ الْكُفَّارَ وَالْمُنَافِقِينَ وَجَمِيعَ الْمُلْحِدِينَ

waq¥im qā¥im¢hi waq¥im bih¢ jabābirata alkufri waqtul bih¢ alkuffāra walmunāfiq¢na wa jam¢`a almul¦id¢na

Terminate those who intend to eradicate him. And, through him, terminate the tyrants of unbelief, kill the disbelievers, the hypocrites, and all atheists,

حَيْثُ كَانُوا مِنْ مَشَارِقِ الأرْضِ وَمَغَارِبِهَا بَرِّهَا وَبَحْرِهَا وَامْلَأ بِهِ الأرْضَ عَدْلاًَ

¦aythu kān£ min mashāriqi al-ar¤i wa maghāribihā barrihā wa ba¦rihā wamla' bih¢ al-ar¤a `adlan

wherever they are; in the east or the west of the earth on the lands or in the oceans, and, through him, fill in the earth with justice,

وَأظْهِرْ بِهِ دِينَ نَبِيِّكَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ

wa a¨hir bih¢ d¢na nabiyyika ¥allā allāhu `alayhi wa ālih¢ wa sallama

manifest the religion of Your Prophet, blessings and peace of You be upon him and his Household,

وَاجْعَلْنِي اللَّهُمَّ مِنْ أنْصَارِهِ وَأعْوَانِهِ وَأتْبَاعِهِ وَشِيعَتِهِ

waj`aln¢ allāhumma min an¥ārih¢ wa a`wānih¢ wa atbā`ih¢ wa sh¢`atih¢

make me, O Allāh, of his supporters, helpers, followers, and adherents;

وَأرِنِي فِي آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلاَمُ مَا يَأمُلُونَ وَفِي عَدُوِّهِمْ مَا يَحْذَرُونَ إِِلهَ الْحَقِّ آمِينَ

wa arin¢ f¢ āli mu¦ammadin `alayhim alssalāmu mā ya’mul£na wa f¢ `aduwwihim mā ya¦dhar£na ilāha al¦aqqi ām¢na

allow me to see the hopes of the family of Muḥammad, peace be upon them, come true, and the hazards of their enemies come true. O God of Truth, respond.

يَا ذَا الْجَلاَلِ وَالإِكْرَامِ يَا أرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ

yā dhā aljalāli wal-ikrāmi yā ar¦ama alrrā¦im¢na

O Lord of Glory and Honor! O most merciful of those who show mercy!
